You need a password to access upper year course summaries. A password will be sent to you upon the submission of at least one summary. Why? This is to encourage submissions, which is what keeps this site going!

If you don't have any summaries to share, send an e-mail letting me know that and I'll send you the password. The whole purpose of this site is to level the playing field!

Submission Guidelines

Send submissions to summaries@eclipse.4mg.com
Naming. Please save the file (in whatever format you'd like) with a name like "Tax_Li_F03.doc"
Include a subject line in your e-mail (like "Summary submission") so your e-mail isn't sent to spam hell
Edit out any potentially offensive material
Help out future users! Include a brief note in the in the summary to let future users know:
- what parts of the summary are weak, outdated or missing
- which textbook and edition the professor used that semester
- big changes in the course to look out for
- anything else you think a future user would appreciate knowing, such as exam strategies, which books are essential or helpful or useless, quirks of the professor, etc. (The kind of stuff you wish you knew before you took the course!)

Know that your anonymity is not assured. There may be identifying elements in your file that you are unaware of.

"Where do you come up with these passwords?!"

"mxyzpltk" came from the (mispelled) name of a comic book character whose weakness was hearing his own name pronounced (or something like that).
"nzyxrtdf" was purely arbitrary has no meaning or significance.
"uliastay" is the name of the second-largest city in Mongolia; alternatively spelled "Uliastai" and "Javhlant" (really).

This semester's password is the name of a tiny Indonesian island southwest of Sumatra, close to Java.

As you may have noticed, passwords are eight characters and as difficult to remember as possible (to make it harder for you to tell everyone what it is once you get it!)
